Sajan is widely known as a cybersecurity subject matter expert both from an executive and academic lease. He is an executive turned advisor/investor who has spent 20+ years in various information security roles with progressive responsibilities. He led and managed global teams and worked very closely with startups, investors, and educational communities.

Most recently, Sajan was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Arvest Bank where he was responsible for developing and executing Information Security, Physical Security, and Business Continuity Programs. He also spent his prior years in institutions such as Citi and EY. He has a MBA and ‘CISO – Executive Education’ and numerous professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, and CIPP/IT. An educationalist at heart, he has instructed, and guest lectured at universities on Cybersecurity topics and has also served as an advisory board member on a few. Lately, he is focusing his time and energy in establishing and developing cybersecurity venture ecosystems in high-potential geographies.

Sajan is involved in the day-to-day operations of the Fuel Cybersecurity program and a world-class resource for startups to learn how develop enterprise relationships in the cyber space.

Requirements

  • We accept companies in the growth and acceleration phase with an established product and existing enterprise business.

  • We accept companies with existing revenue and funding. In order to be the most successful in the program, startups need to be prepared for some of the largest enterprises in the US.

  • Fuel is an in-person program in Bentonville, AR with office space provided at Ledger Bentonville. We require 70% attendance.

  • A member of your C-suite must be present. You are welcome to bring additional team members based on curriculum.

  • Participates must be working to innovate and shape the future with new ideas and technologies.

Fuel is all about collaboration: between both startup entrepreneurs and enterprise partners. We want to build a community, so we will not take on startups that are in direct competition.

Tangible Business Growth

We expect you to come out of this program having made clear, tangible strides. Our main goal is for you to leave with access to sales opportunities and commercial agreements that translate to revenue growth.

No Equity Exchange

We do not take any equity for this program because the expectation is that this will be a mutually valuable exchange between startups and their enterprise mentors through deep learning and connections. We simply ask for your time and commitment to make this program worthwhile for all involved.
